[cross-posted in Silver Subscribed] Zophie did great for her first time at the command of a mid-engine 12 cylinder Ferrari...the Testarossa. The Testarossa is known for having a heavy clutch, no power steering and a sometimes recalcitrant shifter. Never fear, Zophie conquered it all and looked like a bad-azz doing it. Sonny Crockett never looked so good. I really loved her comment at 2.44 about how "my horse is faster than your horse" and how she looked positively giddy at the end of the drive - ready to go hop into another F-car. A couple segments have a bit of wind-noise so please accept my apologies...will try harder next time I film. Have a look for yourselves and let us know what you think! This is also a great video.. Feel bad she can barely see over the dash or she was worried about hitting the spoiler? Both seem to be wrestling with getting her in 2nd gear.. Once warm she should be pretty easy.. You may need an adjustment or get some better fluid in the gear box. I run Royal Purple with no additives and it made a big improvement. Some have used Redline with same results so its kind of a touchy feely topic. How did you get such good audio (reduced wind noise)? R
Very Classy! I don't think she could drive too well with those heels, and that far away from the pedals. Ago
I dont think she was driving in those heals. Pictures at beginning show her in a black dress but in the car she is wearing a white T... Nice edit job Sandy... lol.. She gets an "A" for effort.. Good Job Zophie and Nicole. R
Now if you can only get them to drive like this!! not a Ferrari but still he deserves respect. R [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SK6RZdb-Ooo[/ame]
Imagine the respect if he had been wearing his Christian Louboutins !! (Not that there could ever be anything but HUGE respect for Senna)
2nd gear is great...this was my fault as I did not adjust the seat properly. I guess I just couldn't imagine how big of a problem it was...but then, I'm full foot+ taller than Zophie! Audio - kept the passenger side window all the way up - that was it. For the rear cam, it was just hanging level with the bumper so it got great exhaust note and low wind noise. For the other cams...I'm going to have to do some careful dubbing/remixing to cut out that hurricane sound effect. Next time! She drove the cars in her cute little black/red Puma sneakers. Zophie did the still photos in the Louboutins...oh, and there was a short jaunt in the F355 while wearing the Louboutins too...so easy to drive that car!
Wait for it...my wife hasn't driven yet. She's Brazilian and likes to "channel" Ayrton Senna while driving.
All I can say you are going to have some serious skills by May 20th... I can't wait to see all the TRS together fis six hours driving to Montery... As far as female driving, I keep my wife in 996 tiptronic... Can't risk it with a TR... heels or no heels.. lol
Simply delightful. Nothing sexier than a woman that is proficient in driving an exotic. She can drive mine any time, but sitting on a cushion so she doesn't have to crane her neck.
Not to hi-jack but I like how Senna has enough stones to take a gear between 14 & 15. To bad that track has since been sanitized of its good corners.
Congratulations Zophie for the first time drive.... Great to have a video to look back upon.... Hopefully my first drive in a Testarossa will be as memorable....
