If this video is accurate it's simply amazing folks. It is impossible to watch this video and not get excited.

It appears that scientists have found a way to get the body to regrow new skin over a severe burn in just a couple of days. -- The best way to describe it is that it's just one step or two short of Star Trek technology... They have a machine treat you and you are healed instantly.

The magic is using the patient's own stem cells sprayed in the burned area. It's a sort of instant skin graph. And if this video is accurate, with amazing results.

The wider implications are scar tissue treatment and similar issues. This might be a game changer for melanoma too.

BTW just so you're warned... they are talking about burn treatment and there are some 'before' pictures. Nothing really major but I figured I'd make sure you were not surprised.

If it is blocked, here is the inverse. It's a pretty remarkable unit, although I wonder what initial costs per unit is alone. Also what one might pay without health insurance to be treated with one.

Stem cell therapy seems to be progressing rapidly.

Here in Colorado they are repairing ligaments on horses legs that were previously untreatable. Some are even racing again.

yeah... The government doesn't want the people knowing what medical advances are out there because then the people might want it. ;-)

Why wouldn't they show before shots of the cop's burn? Certainly looks promising for a lot of applications.

I wonder if it works on 3rd degree burns or road rash.

Burns treatments making a populace that is as nonchalant about fire and hot liquids as airbags made people about driving recklessly?

    All the best,

Ok... I'm confused... where, how, did you find an 'inverse' that isn't blocked???

The original was blocked in Kuwait, but the inverse wasn't... in fact, a number of videos are routinely blocked here, so I would be interested in knowing how you found that... I'm surprised the 'inverse' isn't blocked.

As to the content... FOUR DAYS! What the hell??? This should be in every hospital in the country...

Impressive, but I'm surprised there's no 'before' pics of the patient. I tend to the skeptical and not sure I actually believe it.

It's amazing. Did anyone see the segment on Nova (I think) about organ transplants? They found a way to "rinse away" all the cells from an organ leaving just the protein-based "scaffolding", which is pure white. They infuse it with stem cells and it re-grows the organ's cells, and without the chance of rejection. Mind boggling.

In theory, that should work. I believe it, based off my [short] experience in medical school Histology studies anyways. The human body is nothing short of a marvel of immensely complex processes. It's almost unfathomable to grasp much of it at once.
