See, if we had known there was a run that was gonna be on the Palisades Interstate Parkway, we could have told you not to do it. There's a really, shall we say, self-important bunch that patrols the PIP and they're in a quasi-limbo grey area of jurisdiction.

wait...i dont understand, it sounds like each person got 16 points on their license but that cant be possible?? and they shut down the entire highway for a few cars that got pulled over??

 

Mike- I was there- some of your statements are not accurate. I suggest for the sake of those involved that you not force people to debate this on a public site. Just a courtesy, since I understand one of the people involved is actually a friend of yours.

 

So do States Attorneys. (Not that I'm an attorney of any kind...)

...and every cop I know in the Tri-State area says the same thing about the police on the PIP, and it's not appropriate content for this board.

 

Let me guess, the Jersey section of it?

PIP cops suck, whereas every single NYPD cop I've delt with has given me a break to some degree. Even the staties are pretty decent in most cases.
