Yes I got gold on the nurburgring, but took about two races to do it. I used the 550 maranello GTS racecar.
I used my F355 Challenge in S4 against SLR's and Tommy Kaira's. Down on them by 200 hp, I won by .2 seconds, got the replay saved, its sweet.
Oh ok. That race is really hard for just being on Arcade. I tried a Saleen S7 once and it couldnt keep up with the ME-412's and the other cars... Speed 12's i think. I just figured the F355 would be best on A-Class. There is nothing better
Man I suck at this game. That ring race in arcade was really hard for me. I think I ended up beating it by taking an MR2 spider and modding it tastefully (b class) for as much speed as possible. If that's cheating, so be it. Anyway what are your guy's lap times around the ring? I have trouble breaking 10 minutes even with fairly powerful cars on race slicks. Am I retarded?
Nice time. I haven't gotten the 355 yet, so I'm not sure what that equates to in HP, weight and tires. What are your settings if you don't mind me asking? As in ... do you find that it is important to say soften up the rate or damping to keep smooth lines on the bumpy parts etc?

Wow, 7:30 is an awsome lap! I got an 8:15.3. It had a few mistakes but not 45 seconds worth of mess up time. Nice Lap!
I race vs easy, use suggested line, and use ABS and I still have trouble winning sometimes. I'm normally very good at racing games, I just don't get it!!
I played FORZA for the first time last night... I was impressed! I am a GT4 guy and wouldn't give up the DFP, but the sounds and graphics of FORZA were good. I preferred the FORZA interpretation of the Nurburgring Norschliefe (sp?) course. And the presence of Ferraris was nice. My only real problem with it was my own clumsyness: I had a really hard time adapting to the XBOX controller. I tried a few different controller setups and couldn't find one that gave me confidence in my ability to shift manually. Other than that, I give it thumbs up!
When I got my Xbox a year ago that was My main problem... Getting used to the new Controllers. But that was when PGR2 was game to play. But you'll get used to the controls.

hey guys what (car) it takes to beat the SALEEN S7 in the "Professional Rrace" level 10 (high power open less than 600HP 06 448 Kw ) that's the 16th out of 20 races just before the Super Ferrari car open I've tried with several cars and just can't beat it. (in first place GOLD of course)
I used a fully upgraded Pagani Zonda, and after a few tries on each course I was able to pull it off. You can't beat it on straight aways, so my best advice would be to learn to handle the turns well.
I tried a C6 Vette with as much possible on it. I could keep up for a while then the Saleen just pulled away farther and farther. Then I just said Im tired of losing so I picked the S7 next and dominated.
I finally picked up an S7 and I can't hold it straight above about 160 mph. Bad time to start getting all tail happy.
After turning a scalding 8:05 lap in the GTS class 550 Maranello, I decided to find out why the times on Forza's version of the ring didn't seem consistant with what I have read about and observed. On a hunch, I selected the R-class Panoz (highest corner rating so that I wouldn't have to slow down to take turns) and fiddled with the gear ratio settings to ensure that my speed at the top of 1st gear was exactly 60 mph. Since everyone knows that 60 mph = 1 mile per minute, my time through the course should be right around 13 minutes. The track length on the game says 13.04 miles. Well, the car never dipped below 60 mph (sometimes it did climb to 61 on downhills, but I NEVER saw 59). The pictures speak for themselves. Does this piss everyone else off as much as it does me? just curious here, I've found a cheat on the net and I was wondering if it actually worked. I won't post it here, as I don't want to spoil it for those playing the game without cheating, but if you want to give it a try, shoot me a PM and I'll send it to you... anyway, the cheat creates a new profile and it is supposed to give you: all cars, all tracks, and level 50 - does anyone know this cheat, or if it works?
