I saw an ad in this month's Road & Track from this company called World Class Driving.

They have events throughout the US where you get to drive 5 cars (Ford GT, Ferrari 430, Lambo Gallardo, Bentley GT, Aston Martin DB9, Corvette Z06) 30 miles each, along scenic and other roads along with instructors. The price is $795 plus tax, per person.

Has anyone done this, or heard of this?

It's a lot of money, but I bet it would be a heck of a lot of fun.

    Just curious...

I looked into it (their website). It's done on public roads, so I think it would be kinda like looking at the bikini thread on this forum... Frustrating.

If they'd do it on a TRACK, I'd sign up in a heartbeat.

30 miles? Yuck....easier to go to dealers and test drive them for free. On a track.....that'd be fun, if they replaced the bentley GT with a CS or 430.

For most people, going to a dealer to test drive a Ford GT or a 430 won't work.

Also - they DO have a 430. I agree that it might be more fun with more exotics.

This is 30 miles in EACH car, so 150 miles total.

The ad says 6 cars. 430, Gallardo, Ford GT, Bentley GT, Z06, and AM. Then the website says our fleet includes-- and lists these cars and some others. It then says we will bring 6 cars. Which 6. There have been several threads here on this, but only info from the ads. I would consider June at Indy but would like to know more. Who are these people and do they have a track record.

I saw that too - the list of 10 or so cars. They could probably pull a fast one and show up with a Z06, Viper, NSX, whatever other cars are on the list and conveniently leave the 430 at home. I could see that happening.

If you were considering a purchase, this would be a good way to decide. I never drove a 430 or 355 before I bought mine. I think this happens a lot on new models. Also I like the variety of cars.
