I think bans are good for us. I was banned from just a thread for a week for improperly posting something p&r in the wrong section. It pissed me off so I just dropped off fchat for a week and worked on the major for my Marranello. It was refreshing to get away. This place is kind of addictive. If I could stay away for 2 weeks I could probably break the habit and free up time to being productive.

Yep. furoni was called mentally retarded using the thinnest of veils but moderators where completely unbothered by it. Not sure what to make of it to be honest, double standards at minimum.

It was reported by at least 5 people. I also know that multiple people reported another instance of once again making accusations that another is a racist, and that similarly went completely ignored.
I'm constantly treated as intellectually disabled. Not saying it's unfair... Honestly, guys, bans can be annoying for sure. But, with very, very few exceptions it's hard to argue that they're arbitrary or unevenly applied.
This particular post report has been discussed at length in the mod forum. Was rejected at the time, is rejected again now. Don't like what someone here posts? Then put him on ignore.
I came from a 15-day ban. I still don't understand how moderators reason: I posted the "kid stare" meme and got banned. Seems like that anything that is not describing Hamilton as a god is unacceptable.
You posted, as you have on other occasions, P&R content outside the P&R forum. The post got moved to the F1 - P&R thread. I'm not gonna spend time digging around for it. You have a rich history here, a search in the mod forum for your user ID produced 15 matches, so that plays a part in length of your ban as well. What's not to understand about the "NO P&R OUTSIDE P&R" rule? D
Since I don't know what the "kid stare" meme is, I have no clue as to why. However, the moderator who handled it has a ton of years of experience here, and would not, I am sure, flag it for no reason. Another moderator moved it TO P&R, so that means at least TWO sets of moderator eyes looked it over and saw that it was P&R. D
Can any mod shed light on why furoni was banned? He said nothing offensive that I could find apart from what was clearly a joke to me (we’re friends) and now has a month ban…
