Just read an interesting article about a Chinese billionaire called "Eric" Pro-Chi Shen who has allegedly hidden 6% of the worlds production of aluminium in the Mexico desert. It goes on to say he purchased a 1963 GTO for $32m in 2013 and I was intrigued to know which one ?

I don't understand your post, but perhaps you've misread something in that other thread? See Marcel's post again:

As Terra says, and as Marcel confirms in the other thread, the car is 250 GTO 4675 GT. Swiss collector Jean-Pierre Slavicin sold the GTO to Shen (or a legal entity controlled by Shen) in 2013 and it has since been displayed under the ownership of "Lionshead West Collection".

By the way, the correct spelling is Eric Po-Chi Shen:

Thank you for the Intel and interesting reading.

My confusion is that I assumed "the man in Southern California" was infact the Lionshead West Collection and not the individual in the article.

This cat is a real piece of work. The McLaren F1 he owns/owned is Chassis 072. This began life as a beautiful black F1 with the high downforce package. When Shen purchased the car, it became the infamous Project 8 F1, which ended up upside down wrapped around a tree in Tuscany. This guy had in his stable 4 Lexus LFA's, a gray Enzo, 599, 599 GTO, R-34 Skyline Nurburgring edition, a Maserati MC12 Corsa (in white) and many other cars. The embezzlement figure has now grown to over 300 million USD, and he's so cocky, he owns and races a FXX K #38. He won't use his last name, so all you see on results from races is #38 Eric (USA).

Found new video from last week at Paul Ricard showing Eric Shen sitting in a driver's meeting for a FXX-K program track day. From what with we've found, which is all public record, Shen has recanted his confession of the $300 million plus he embezzled from his Chinese employer. However, he cannot show how he was able to buy a total of 86 cars, multiple million dollar homes around the globe and a Gulfstream G-IV. Interesting side note, we have been able to confirm that the 250 GTO s/n 4675GT owned by Lionshead West Collection is in fact the GTO held by Eric Shen.
