    Where's the Mondial?

Of those, it would have to be the Enzo for me. No offense on the F50 but it looks like a Pokemon from the front. IMVHO

I love the Enzo as well, but I have a problem with being enclosed.
Mondial is a super model, not a super car if I'm honest, LoL !

If the F50 looks like Pokemon, it was the 90s.
But here is the FF and it looks more so today...

    LOL on all comments.
But the yellow F50 is a spitten image of the yellow poke, It has a name but just google it and you'll see what I mean.

If I wasn't on my IPad right now I could post a picture.

I was just watching a repeat of top gear last night where they had a segment on supercars and featured the enzo and F-40 along with the original mclaren (which happened to be prugna) and the xj22o and I was thinking which is my favorite one. Among Ferrari supercars I would have to vote for the 288 GTO I love the 308 and the 288gto best represents that style.

If we are including the 288 GTO then may I include the Challenge Stradale?

Thinking of differing degrees of "supercar" to "hypercar" with the 288 & CS in the supercar end of the spectrum.

The F50 is great but the Enzo would be the top for me.

I would not like the yellow as much as the red.

Michael, that's a beautiful car as well!
Never thought about it because it looks like any other Modena, just much faster!

I've been thinking about your question......

Since I'm totally stuck in the 80's and I have a Ferrari with a gated shifter, that essentially rules out the more modern F50 and the Enzo. Having never driven either of the remaining two, the decision is based on aesthetics alone, as I truly have no interest in pushing these cars to their limits. I like the looks of the F40 better as a supercar from the outside, with the exception of the rear of the 288GTO which I really like; and the 288GTO is supposedly the one with the "better" interior for non race days, and the one which will allow you to cruise around off-boost more comfortably, (at least according to an article I read, written by Joe Sackey.) In the article he also commented that most wives don't really want to go anywhere sitting shotgun in the F40. Not completely sure that's relevant to your original question, however, but could be a reason some days for choosing the F40! lol!

I think the 288 GTO is the first true supercar, both raw and refined, beautiful and aggressive, yet slightly more practical (as this is the Mondial section in which you posted your question, you know!) and somehow, that might just make it the best supercar at least IMHO, for me. I think I'd be more inclined to drive it more frequently on average over a year or decade on normal sunny days. I'm not sure just oodling over these cars as they age in my garage is really enough for me.

The ultimate Supercar will always be a Testarossa or 512TR. If not then a Diablo or Countace. But then I wouldn't kick an F40 out of bed either.

    Hi Lino,

Enzo loved this car and this is a fine example of one with him in it.
    Beautiful car!

    Hi Dave,
I like the Testarossa, but since you put it out there, I'll take the DIABLO any day!
But that Diablo with your Fiat 500 is awesome!

Ferrari's loftiest efforts have been in the supercar market.
    1962-1964 250 GTO
    1964-1966 250 LM
    1984-1985 288 GTO
    1987-1992 F40
    1995-1997 F50
    1996 F50 GT
    2003-2005 Enzo (F60)
    2010-2012 599 GTO
    2012 F70

If you thought that Ferrari was going to rest on its laurels after pulling the wraps off of the 2012 F12 Berlinetta sports car, think again.

The F70 is due to launch by the end of 2012.
Here are some artists renditions, not sure exactly what the finish car will look like?

Well if that F70 is for real, that would not really be fair to Jim Glickenhaus, now would it?

I think he would be honored if they incorporated some of his Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina design in the F70, but I don't think Ferrari will.

It would be really hard for me to choose between 288GTO, 250GTO and F50. But I think the 288 would be my choice. Hummm! Am I sure??? Can't decide. I'll take all 3 thank you!

Every F50 ever built has a gated shifter.

    FYI :)
