I have used my fathers C-8080 extensively, and I was unaware of its lens changing ability... At the moment I am without a camera, as I am selling the replacement for my stolen A430, a A540. Normally I use my mothers Pentax *ist DS2, which I am rather annoyed at at the moment for its unsatisfactory ability to reproduce reality.
Someone told me that FChatter "Richard" uses a camera that looks like a Hasselblad H3D. I don't know if it's true or not.
Nikon D2X 17-55mm 2.8 ED DX and Olympus E-10 for Digital. Cannon A-1, Minolta 7000i and Mamiya professional for film. Favorite is Nikon D2X for last two years.
I am the proud new owner of a Nikon D200 with a 17-55mm lens (which I'm told was a good purchase). Now I have to learn how to take a good picture. Erik, any help? Gene
Canon SD630 which I bought a couple weeks ago for a good price. They are trying to blow them out so the new 700 and 800? series can be put out on the shelf. I want to get a DSLR, but dont have the cash right now. Im thinking Nikon D80...but the Canon Rebel XTi is pretty tempting too.
Pentax K10. Works quite well and allows use of old Pentax lenses... The metal/sealed body is comparable to Nikon D200. VR is in the body so even old lenses can be used with VR. Focus with old non-auto focus lenses is a bit tricky but can be improved (I'm told) with different viewer. The upside to using the old non-zoom lenses is that they are quick and distortion free. To have this performance with a Nikon I would have needed a minimum of two new $1500 lenses. All together quite happy. Jon
Nikon Coolpix 4600. It stands everything. Everytime i go outside, i take it with me. Since 2 years, i've taken more than 10000 shots with it. The nightshoots are pretty noisy, but that's just a mid-priced digital camera, anyway im not disappointed with Nikon.
