Call me a pessimist but I do believe Merc will once again run away with both championships. Even if they have some losses the first half, they'll simply knuckle down and out-develop everyone the second half and walk away with it like they always do.

So.. what is there to look forward to. For me... I'm anxious to see Hulk vs Ric. I'm so tired of Ric's passive/aggressive self-aggrandizing... smiling while he insults his new team suggesting of course that it will be him who drive them to work hard. This is where the rubber will me the road for him. Given no disparity in reliability... if he manhandles Hulk... then I'll be the first to say he's top notch... but it'll be interesting if he doesn't.

    Charles consistently outperforming Sebastien.

P.S. Nico Hulkenberg probably should have had Nico Rosberg's seat at M-B. I could be wrong but I believe he will run with and perhaps beat Daniel this season.

How Honda does with Red Bull. Nothing else even comes close.

The championship should go to Ferrari this time, but I fear that Vettel and Leclerc will steal each other points, where there will be team orders at Mercedes.

I am looking forward to Renault beating Red Bull and finishing 3rd in the WCC.

I hope HAAS will consolidate its position and repeat its success. I like the way Gene Haas approaches F1.

I would like McLaren to improve, but I am disappointed by their drivers line-up.

I will be following Raikkonen at Alfa Romeo with interest.

Point Racing, Toro Rosso and Williams will stay at the back, I believe.

Red Bull Honda is sure to be a highlight... or low light I guess. I’m anxious also very anxious to see if Gasly can humble Max a little bit.

Also I look forward to the amount of carbon collected in turn one with the wider front wings. I think Max will single handily be Front Wing Destroyer Champion

Somebody challenging Merc, but I don't know if that is going to happen. I want to see Max's growth, Leclerc in the Ferrari, and RIC in the Renault.

    +1 agree

IIRC Toto's first choice was Hulkenberg but he had just signed a 3 year deal with Renault and couldn't break it.

Vettel and Leclerc 1 and 2.

Kimi getting a few podiums would be great too.

And of course seeing how Stroll does in a more competitive car.

Totally agree on the Stroll comment. I recall an article a while back saying that Stroll now has "nowhere to hide" once he is in a better car. No more blaming the equipment for P20.

We'll find out pretty quickly whether he is a good driver or not.

I think this season is gonna pull the pants down on more than a couple drivers. Stroll, Ric, Vettel, Giovanasi, certainly Kvyat. All of these guys have something to prove or at least maintain. It’ll be interesting.

Hope there is more consistency in the officiating, or Charlie finally getting sacked.

these front wings are ridiculous. Racing will still be bad.

    - Looking forward for Leclerc: he will at least be fighting for the championship until the very end. He won't back off for Vettel.
    - Not happy that they dropped the Sauber name, but I'm hopping that Alfa Romeo will be the best from the rest and Kimi will have great performances.
    - I truly hope Honda comes with a strong engine, otherwise you bet Verstappen will depart the team.

Hoping for a good season from Kimi at Alfa. It will be the only time i will wear two team colours over the week at Silverstone.

I don’t buy into the hype around Leclerc so doubt he will do much better than Kim unless Ferrari suddenly change how they treat their two drivers.

I can say I am not excited for this season like in years past. There is nothing I see that will make the season outcome any different than we have seen the last few years.

    1) Mercedes: Will make it interesting in the beginning then destroy everyone
    2) Ferrari: Will seem like they have a chance early in the season then fall apart
    3) Redbull: Will be competitive at times but not good enough to surpass the other two top teams.
    4) The rest of the teams

    Yawn...….……...
