I know this is not directly aviation related. And if it needs delete\move, I understand. It is with sadness that I share Unfortunately Tom Carr (tcar) lost his battle with Covid last week. One of his many loves was aviation and he was a frequent contributor here. I was fortunate to meet Tom though our mutual love of Porsches, ok all cars actually, and can say the world lost a true gentleman in every sense of the world. Next time you are flying, please give a little tip of the wins in honor or tcar
Terrible news. I’ll be honored to wag my wings in tribute on my next flight. RIP Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
He seemed to have so much knowledge. Crazy to find that on a car specific message board. Thanks for the heads up. Sad to hear... He is an unknown face to most of us but to his family he was a brother or a father and I'm sure many peoples great friend.
Sad to hear. I ‘believe’ he was young ? Under 60. Did he live in Houston for a while and attend the local FCA chapter in or around 2005 ? Godspeed
