    Hello everyone!

As we all know, the 355F1 gearbox doesn´t rev-match when downshifting, so a big friend of mine does this by himself by revving when downshifting and braking with the left foot.

It sounds simply AMAZING and it´s a sound that Ferrari will probably never produce again. It´s a true orchestra.

I hope you all Ferrari lovers enjoy it.

The beauty of the 355 F1 is that you still have to heel-toe your downshifts. I keep harping on that, but most people don't seem to get it. Sounds great!

Can someone please explain how the throttle can be blipped on downshifts in the F1 transmission 355. Does the F1 clutch disengage when you take the foot off the throttle?

The instant you pull the paddle, the clutch goes "down" (disengaged, pressure plates apart).
Blip the gas at the same time you pull the paddle. Try it. It works great. You still have to match revs (bigger blips for downshifts at higher revs, very little at no revs) but when you get it right it is super smooth and sounds fantastic.

I don't left foot brake it, I roll to blip with my right foot just like with a manual. I installed the Hill Engineering gas pedal with the HT-tab from Ricambi to make it easier.

    I can't hear it. :(

For some reason I can't get any sound for that particular YouTube video... the rest of YouTube seems to work just fine for me, so not sure what's going on there. I'll try again later and see if the problem resolves itself.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

...and you have to just love his slicing through traffic in the tunnel and helping enhance the image of Ferrari owners. Nice... :(

What's with the 'WARNING' sticker on the dash? Yikes!
