Clock finally stopped working. Any recommendations or suppliers of the Veglia clock for 73 model ? Insides look in excellent condition but it appears the coils are shot?

    Is your clock repairable?

Palo Alto Speedometer rebuilds these - less than cost of fully functioning NOS in my exp.

    Good day Cazna,

I am not an expert on these clocks and so I hope you will bear with me... If it is a quartz clock, then a core/critical component could have failed and it would not necessarily provide a visible indication of a problem. For example Electrolytic Capacitors will fail after about 10-15 years depending upon their environment. Basically the internal dielectric dries out which results in the Capacitor being unable to store electrical charge... and thus a problem.

If you would please post a high res photo of the internals and perhaps I can provide some guidance on what components to check and/or investigate.

    Cheers,

    Sam
