    Does anyone know if such a list exists that contains auction dates, geographic areas and typical kinds of autos sold at these auctions? How is one to know?

    Google car auctions January Arizona - the top 5 collector car auction houses will be there and you can request they put you on their mailing list. Bonham's, Gooding, RM, Russo, Barrett, etc. and you can contact Mecum and some other notable ones as well. I follow collector car auctions/market for years and never seen one universal listing from all auction houses.
