I should try to get my nephew to post on here: He is a firm believer in Massa. But then again he also believes in Wurz. He seems to have a knack for the untalented underdogs.

 

I know Ron said that Fisi developed the Renault more than Alonso, but is that true? Fisi joined the team just a few months before their championship season of '05. Fernando was there for a couple years prior and had already won a race. I dunno.

I never believed that argument. Alonso was Renault's test driver and developed that car over the years. Just look at how Renault stagnates now that Alonso is gone. No wonder Briatore is doing everything to get UnFairnando back: He is using Telefonica (who wants to beat rival Vodafone at McLaren) to help him pay the 30+ millions to get Alonso away from the Dark Side. Fisico's, Kovalainen's and Piquet's careers are on hold right now.

 

Ferrari never wanted him. They knew why.

 

Ron Dennis was once asked why he didn't sign Fisi for a vacant seat he had. Dennis replied that if he wanted Fisi, he would have signed him 5 years ago. He is a great gentleman and a class act IMHO but he unfortunately never matured into the great driver that I once hoped he would be.

 

Well thats too bad because we already got stuff so you're just gonna have to accept it graciously

All Fisi really wanted was to drive for Ferrari and that never happened.
He would have been as good as any as MSs #2.

The Kimi/Massa duels have kind of died down lately. Was it because of Ron' accident or other issues such as Mclarengate, LH's dominate performances, etc? I don't know. But at the time of Ron's impromptu freeway cookout us Kimi fans were almost ready for the black bird dinner.

Now things have changed and although I haven't harvested any of these buggers yet, I do have them located here on my property. I can make them available for free. Is it too late to put one in the box or should we wait a couple of more races?

I think all of the above plus some really lousy races by Massa that take all the fun out of stabbing. You can discuss whether he did a good or bad job in Melbourne, but you can't seriously discuss his "performances" at the Ring or Hungaroring anymore. That was just painful to watch and somebody should put him out of his misery.

Wonder whatever became of Brett ?
