So the Tour Auto is moved into late summer as well.... August 30th to 4th of September https://www.peterauto.fr/en/tour-auto-2021-2/
Actually should be really nice with better weather than April, always uncertain, when they enter the second phase most tourists will have driven north to home as usual right at the end of August, clearing the south of France of crowds, always great to be there in September. I will follow it more this year.
Legends of the Autobahn just cancelled their annual show during Monterey Car Week 300 Porsches were expected to be on display. But it was cancelled because local residents didn't like the idea of it taking place at a public park. The organizers couldn't get an alternative so the BMW club that sponsors it withdrew their support.
Wally this is completely off topic, does not belong in this thread which is about the Tour Auto historic Rally in France.
Your camera really likes that Jaune 250 SWB model (#145) in the low front driver view! Beautiful, thank you.
Thanks everyone for the kind comments ! Now I'm trying to establish the list of Ferrari entered, and I need your help : .Dino 246 GT rosso Dino # 126 - Bordais / Soun, .308 GrIV Michelotto # 260 - Mennechet / Loubet (not seen at Bourg en Bresse) Thanks !
Hello Marc No, it's a BHS, for Benais and Saint-Hilaire. Littlel French craftsman from the end of the 60's, with a Renault 1300 engine. The owner-pilot of the #213 raced with this same car at the 1970 Tour Auto. He is now 80 years old !
I compare the entry list with the cars i saw wednesday between Beaune and Aix les Bains. Actually i didn't saw the 250swb N°29 and the 308 GrB N° 260. DNS ? DNF ? Can anyone help me please...
Hello Etienne, Both car were at the start. #260 was also at the finish on saturday. On the second day, #260 had trouble during race at circuit de bresse, but was racing again on the afternoon. SWB #29 was DNF during first day (I saw it already stopped just outside Paris).
