    Hello Friends,

Love my Mondial and do plan to keep her until my daughters/wife sells it when I'm 6 feet under....but on the prowl for a 456M to keep her company. If you know of any that are a 'good' deals - don't hesitate to let me know!

As to why? I love the Mondial and it works well for shorter trips around town with 4 folks, but for long range trips, I think the 456M would be better suited.

I was thinking of perhaps a F355, but changed my mind - I like having those back seats and as long as I have willing friends and family to share the fun!

    Cheers

Great choice, the 456M. One of my favorites as well.

And now seems like a great time to buy since they're "off the radar".

But as you know, due diligence is especially important with these. Hopefully you'll find one from an enthusiast instead of a dealer/broker.

Another thing in common with the Mondial, neither are very photogenic. But are captivating in person instead.

Thanks Wade for your note. I as well have always thought it looked cool. I just consider myself lucky I guess that I love the less appreciated models too.

Isn’t that the truth! My Mondial T in person is absolutely gorgeous. Took my wife to lunch in it yesterday and nearly every person that passes does a double take or gives a thumbs up.

    Paul,
    Join our conversation on 456s.
Also, if you send me a PM, I’ll give you a list of all the recently listed cars in the US as well as a PPI form I made when looking for mine.

I can’t “deal”with finding pics but Novitec NF-2’s are what the 456 folk really go after (as killer will attest to). Hi killer.

I love the 456, I took one for a test drive back in I think 2012 or 2013 from a Ferrari Dealership, price was $29,900 I believe! Good luck on your search!

    Beautiful!!!! Wow!

Exactly the spec I'd want. You and I seem to have the same taste in cars, Paul. :) May be moving back to CA (finally) next year and am considering adding a 456M or a 360 coupe.

Big congrats to you on this beauty!!!

I am grateful for you all and the Mondial community. I plan to write up the pros/cons/differences. Just some initial expectations. I believe the 456M will lose the 'go cart' feel we all love about the Mondial. I also know that the engine note (while some prefer the lower frequency) is not as sweet to the ear. I'm expecting this to the the 'true' grand tourer, and the Mondial to me was always a 'true' sports car.

Thank you so much syata, will do!

Thanks davemqv, great minds think alike my friend!

Thanks JLF, I will definitely report on this. I of course prefered the 6 speed, but the 2X differential was hard to accept. Put another way, I asked myself - given the choice of 2 GTAs or 1 GT - which door would you open? The answer was obvious - I will most likely lament this 20 years down the road though.

Thank you so much!! I've been looking longer then my post, so it appears much more impulsive here (hahaha) but as it happend the right color/spec came along so I just jumped on it!

    Cheers
