amazing attention to detail and correctness!
coil is untouched other than a cleaning, the bracket I plated along with hardware. Ill black out fasteners on the rear clam shell later, the last thing thats done when the car is assembled. Touched up the oil tank but left it as original as possible. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Would love to see a car of this quality come through a reputable auction house. I suspect it could set a very, very high bar !!! This is quite a car!!!
Btw, please correct me if I am wrong but I don't think there has been a boxer that has transacted that has been restored to a Newman work product level?
Paul, as always, very nice work. I know, I know I haven't commented on your project (s) for a while, but I have been keeping up on them. I didn't want all the praising I give you to get to your shiny head.
Starting to assemble the short block. It would be a sad day if you forgot to install that O-ring! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I love these engines, they just look so great! Left the decks alone and they're in amazing shape. Unless its really bad and corroded I try to leave them alone because I hate removing material from engine blocks. has Exotic30 been up to see the progress? this project is very exciting for our community, keep it up, Paul!
That engine is almost too beautiful to put back in the car! I could put that in my den, and just stare at it all day. Sid
They make a great coffee table! I have a 512M engine in my office and I still find myself staring at it! Very cool engines, sadly never to be produced again.
Forgive me.........Beautiful work............. I can't hold back, sorry................ Perfect example.....race, wrecked, repaired.........old, repaired, restored.........no paint work, original paint.....WHO CARES..........done right as this perfect example, who cares. It gets so old hearing " original paint, CLEAN CARFAX" I call bull&^%$$. So do you think, anyone, that this restoration will show up on a carfax? get my point? Your car is stunning period. Good for you. All cars that are old need to have this some time in there life, the wanna be's that think it's more valuable because of "no issues, original paint, bla bla bla" are just smoking crack IMO. Your car is worth more many times over than before you started. Well done !!!!!!!!!
