I'm planning to attend, but still need to nail down childcare for the day. I will advise in the next couple of days if I am able to make arrangements.

This will be my GTB's debut so to speak. I did a belt change, valve clearance adjustment, and a few other odds and ends over the winter (got the car in December), but I have only put about 100 miles on the car since then. So far so good, but her reliability hasn't really been tested so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I look forward to meeting everyone. Here's a shot of the car.

It is pretty similar. I saw Bob's car at the NJMP Ferrari challenge race last year. It looked great, and certaily influenced my decision to get GTB instead of a GTS. Mine is a euro QV.

Just reminded myself of this fortunately! Got a new shop and opening day is April 1st, but I'll keep that day free so I can run with the horses, but I'll be in a boxer...non-Porsche or Ferrari :) I hope the rumble doesn't over power the V-12s, a friend and I will be swapping pilot positions for the run.

Looking forward to meeting all of you, I may be the youngest one attending haha

I don't expect any takers, though I'm optimistic and had to at least ask, because I would love to go. If there are any Ferrari owners who wouldn't mind a co-pilot for the drive, I would do anything to join you (within reason, lol). I used to detail and would gladly detail your car or pay for gas or whatever, anything to join someone. A bit of background, I'm 28 years old, college grad (PITT), have a wife and a baby girl, very personable and one of the biggest TIFOSI you'll ever meet!! As I said, I doubt anyone will put themselves out there to have a stranger join them, but I promise I'm not a psycho nut, LOL. You can PM me or email me, your choice. Thanks for everyone's time and have a great time at the drive!! Ciao!

I sincerely hope somebody will take you up on your offer. Actually, I would hope a few people would and you could pop from car to car. This event is supposed to be about bringing fellow fchatters together for a wonderful afternoon sharing their cars and taking a beautiful mellow country drive. I would gladly offer you a spot in my car, as I have done for others on past drives. However, after months of bugging her, my wife finally agreed to join me for one of our drives!

Thank you very much for your words, it's very much appreciated and I completely understand why you can't offer me a seat. If I had a Ferrari, it would be rare to get my wife to join me as well on a drive, LOL. I'm hoping I can find somebody to jump in with though!! Sounds like it's going to be a great time. Preferably someone with a Scud or something would be optimal, hahahahah, JUST KIDDING!!! Complete kidding, any Ferrari would be absolutely great!! Thanks though, I feel very welcomed by your comments. Grazie mille! Ciao!

That was one of the most incredible driving experiences I have ever had. I am madly in love with the Scuderia. I just can't imagine a car being any better than that, and in the hands of an expert driver like Jon, it is on a whole other level.

    Magnificent!

    Yes.

    The precise address is:

    I-95 & MD 279 (Exit 109 A)
    Elkton, MD 21921

It is the restaurant formerly known as the Iron skillet. Now it is called the travel plaza restaurant and there is a big red tarp on the front of the building advertising a buffet or something.

I used 1400 Elkton on my GPS because it was the only thing on that road it would recognize. I got close enough and then just looked for the travel plaza. The restaurant has a big red tarp on it that says "BREAKFAST BUFFET $5.00, 6am-11am"

However, I do know that their is another entrance to the plaza off a connecting road. There is a shell gas station in the same plaza. once you get off 95 onto elkton rd, you can't miss it!

I will try and get something more specific if I can.

We have pretty much worked out the final route. As previously posted, it will be a giant 120+ mile loop starting in Maryland, going through Delaware and up into Lancaster county, Pennsylvania. The route consists almost exclusively of back roads. We will provide the complete directions to all team leaders a few days before the drive. All others can receive it a day in advance by sending me an email.

BTW, I could still use another team leader. Any volunteers?
