Hello Andrew, I think there is few of French or French speaking members but it's mostly an american/ UK forum and it's almost 100% english speaking forum. Europe is too huge as a definition and do cover too much different language / geagraphic areas to be convenient. Regional areas could be created for different countries / languages, for example : Spanish French Italian German ... I'm sure this would end up with more people joining and participating in discussions and make FerrariChat a global forum (maybe it's not the purpose of Rob). My 2 cents of Euro for my first post here ! -- Gordon
This year i have done Spa, Magny cours for the Fdays . Done the Louis Vuitton concours , and the Super car Rally @ Geneva. And did the Tour De france start as well.. I missed a lot of event this summer because i had a summer internship in a law firm Next year will be better i hope
Hi Gordon , Well the main problems are : French dont speak english and french are allergic to the internet They are only warming up to the whole net life !! Seriously, even the Spain or Holland members are more active ...its sad ! BTW what do you do in Paris ? Glad to see im not the only parisian ..
hehe...i just sold my Alfa ..so i could try to catch you running lol . If i get a car again then maybe ..might be a Smart, might be a Z3M ..it depends lol !
Wolfgang ! Great..nothing better than a ****ing loud Ferrari !! i know some tunnels and very narrow streets here in Paris where to echo her beautiful sound !! Best !!
Amenasce, "LOUD PIPES SAVE LIVE!" I`m looking forward for a sound check though the Paris tunnels;-) Don`t know the scheduls for next year, but maybe & who knows? Wolfarossa FORZA FERARI
Andrew, Andrew quote (how do you quote on this forum ? what did you say about french and internet ;-)) : ---------------------------------- Well the main problems are : French dont speak english and french are allergic to the internet They are only warming up to the whole net life !! ---------------------------------- French don't speek english : it's a little bit carricatural but you are right and that's why a french speaking section would be good for them and that, imo, is the condition to have more french here. I would add that even when you speak a little bit of english like me, sometimes i am frustrated not to be able to express myself with as much as nuances than I do (or tend to do) in french. With a name like Andrew, I beleive that english is one of your native language which makes it a lot easier and different for you. ------------------------------- Seriously, even the Spain or Holland members are more active ...its sad ! ------------------------------- Yes, for Dutch : they all speak english For sapnish it's a lot more estonishing for me as I have always noticed in meetings that they were as bad as French or Italian for English. Things seems to change. ------------------------------ BTW what do you do in Paris ? Glad to see im not the only parisian .. ------------------------------ long time ago I was born here and now working in insurance business to pay 412 maintenance (yes I am one of these strange guys who like the 400/412 series ) -- Gordon
