    The Mo Chapter of FCA is having a F-1 Kick Off Party On Saturday March 17, 2007, (St. Pats Day) 7 p.m. at Pujols 5 Westport Grill at Westport Plaza, Maryland Heights, MO. Claudia Poertner is handling the RSVPs ([email protected]) $27.00 a head, buffet dinner, cash bar, and private room with big screens for the Australian Gran Prix.

    Anyone going? I think I will. If the weather holds out, I'll bring the Fcar.

    by the way, has anyone eaten at pujols' before? if i'm not mistaken, it's still part owned by the people that used to own patricks there, but i'm not 100% sure. i'm looking forward to seeing everyone there.

    Tim,

    Yes the local FCA is at the same place but on March 15, 2008.

    I wasn't overly impressed with Pujols5 audio system (looked & sounded like an old drive-in movie speaker). For the price the food was Ok and the audio sux. I enjoyed the company but not the location. I was wondering if anyone was watching the race somewhere else? Anyone got a big screen or a hook at a decent wateringhole/feed trough we can watch the races at?

    Hmmm Maybe would should just make it Ferrari fans only! Jk Tim.

    On another note, What are we gonna do..NO USGP this year? any ideas? I loved the porsche series before the GP. Let me know if anything is cookin at Gateway.

    I didn't want to tell you this but the club was gonna ask the guy with the Porsche club tag on (Tim) to leave but I told them he had brought his kid (Scott) who was a Ferrari fan, and they said you could stay. LOL.

    Yes we let closet Ferrari fans in the club.

    meanwhile, back at the ranch

    i agree with what dave said about pujols'. the food wasn't that great, it was a little pricey for what we got i thought (27, i'm guessing we had to pay for the room, i know of a lot of places that with the kind of numbers we had last year, wouldn't have charged, just put a minimum food/drink total) but unless for the same price they make it an open bar and keep the food out a little longer, i think i may pass. i'm still willing to watch the race, but i don't think pujols' is the greatest place to do it.
