i've been following weber for many years, i know somehow he will screw it up even though he has pole. A bad start or some other miscue is in the cards. He's great at qualifiying but crap under real race conditions.

Took him 124 races to reach his first pole... I don't think he'll be able to hold it
together and keep a consistent lead. My money is on Red Bull and the Brawns.

I seriously doubt Webber will take it. I think Vettel, Rubens, Jenson, and very much one of the Ferraris have a good chance here. Heck..lets not forget Sutil :)

something tells me he won't win but the question should be..

who wants Webber to win? ..for a fast guy who's been around, i don't feel like rooting for him..

my money is on vettel ftw!

I am going out on a limb here, but if it rains, I think one of the red cars will make the podium. :)

    Yes. both mclarens and Ferrari's.

I think a lot of you are underestimating webber. I think he's a great driver personally but always either had a bad or seriously unreliable car under him...They don't call him 'the unluckiest man in F1' for the fun of it you know...

If you actually watch him during races you see he's pretty damn good. Maybe not Vettel/Hamilton good...But he's there allright.

50% chance Webber will get passed before the first turn and never be able to regain the lead.

30% chance Vettel will end up passing him in the pits (staggered stops, Vettel will be running him down and will come out ahead of him during a stop)

18% chance Button will pass Webber on track or in the pits

1% chance Webber will actually win it

1% something bizarre happens and... oh... Piquet wins it.

I think the same thing. Actually judging by the times in Q3 Hamilton has a car that can run.

A lot will depend on when the rain comes.
A wet start could well occur in single file under pace car conditions. The outcome of that will be quite different than a dry start from the grid with Hamilton's KERS stirring the pot into that first corner.

    The fuel loads are interesting.

    2. Rubens Barrichello, Brawn GP, 647
    3. Jenson Button, Brawn GP, 644
    4. Sebastian Vettel, Red Bull, 661
    5. Lewis Hamilton, McLaren, 654.5
    6. Heikki Kovalainen, McLaren, 664.0
    7. Adrian Sutil, Force India, 678.5
    8. Felipe Massa, Ferrari, 673.5
    9. Kimi Raikkonen, Ferrari, 674
    10. Nelson Piquet, Renault, 676
    11. Nick Heidfeld, BMW Sauber, 681
    12. Fernando Alonso, Renault, 668.2
    13. Kazuki Nakajima, Williams, 683.6

Seems like the field is catching up to Brawn a little too late. Jenson has not been dominant the past two races and now they are actually running lighter than the other cars in the top-6...INCLUDING MCLAREN. Unfortunately, our guys in red continue to get it all wrong. Sutil out-qualifying them in a heavier car????

Unfortunately, I can't use Carol's website lead (Filmon) because I'm on a Mac so I guess I'll have to wait out Fox's coverage 7 hours later.

well. Perhaps FI had their setup a bit more adjusted towards bad weather?

Bas, i suspect Ferraris did just 1 timed lap or maybe 2, compared to the rest of the field. The track was drying up a lot, but i definitely saw the Ferraris just once or twice.
