This one looks better than the first since it's the Euro version. No ugly gigantic orange reflector on the front bumper. Nice and clean.

Why on earth do you guys have these huge ugly plates up front?

Totally ruins the symmetry. Id rather have ugly reflectors then an offset plate, or any plate up front

I think they think it looks cool....It seems like half of the european guys I know that live in the states have opted to use the same Euro-style plates here. Fortuately, the fad has not taken off.

having big plates aint a real big problem . . . i dont mind them, but the one thing i dont understand is that why do the europeans put the plates in front of the car no matter what value it is. e.g. enzo, veyron, cgt . . . although we are forced to in NA . . . we ignore it. meh, i rather take the fine. LOL :)

Many states, such as Michigan require only the rear plate.

Many times it's just not a fine. They will take your driving license.
meh, rather frontplates than risking my freedom to drive. LOL :) Hehe..

Its the law its not done out of choice. Its also not a petty law that will be overlooked by officers, its a big law that will get you very quickly in trouble if ignored. Here is an all black Euro Veyron with no front plates, just to cheer you up!

and in the same way, we don't have the side markers by choice ;)

you know that cars like the Ford GT couldn't be produced this year because of a DOT law requiring that the passengers head cannot hit the roof, and possibly cause a severe neck injury in a wreak... while they aren't belted in? Its already the law to have the seat belts on, why make a law regarding not using one? WTF

    freeking big gov. politicians :(

What if you take the side markers out ? I always wondered if the cops would notice or if there is any sort of annual test the car has to go through where they check for those ?

Nice pics, Veyrons look nice in black. There's a blavk one coming to a dealer near me, Silicon Valley Auto Group. It will be all black, black interior-silver stitch, and black painted wheels. I'll post pics once I go see it :D

Shame it took 4 turbos and a W16 when a McLaren can almost achieve the same performance naturally and with a V12 :p

Oh yeah, the McLaren seats 3...

the non LM/ GTR (read vast majority) of McLaren F1's don't handle very well, and are unpredictable... while the Veyron has an Electric Schumacher Protection on each wheel to fix handling issues.

the Veyron is faster from 0-200 mph than the F1 is from 100-200mph.

It took the LM tuned Mclaren engine rev limiter removed to reach 242.1ish mph for a fraction of a km... while the Veyron is limited to 254 mph, and capable of nearly 260.

The Veyron is far and away the better performing car then the majority of McLaren's... but, the F1 is surely more nimble with modern rubber, and definately faster in sweepers with LM or GTR treatment.

Performance is far different then top speed. Right now, I'm working on a car that will top every McLaren's true top speed (original engine, with the normal rev. limiter) in a standing mile, while the top speed of the car is not the prime goal at this time.... not to mention, the handling prowess of this car is extreme as well :)

sorry, but thats all I can say about it at this time ;)
