Getting a few things done to the FF to switch things up a bit, and thought it would be fun to start a thread for it. As a starting point, I did a few small things like exhaust and x-pipe, F12 OEM wheels, spacers, lowering on stock suspension. Been great, but ready for the next round!
-For tuning, Steve @ Mase Engineering in Jacksonville is going to tweak it on the dyno and get us some stock numbers and tuned numbers (will let him chime in, as he is on the forum)
-For exterior, Bespoke in Jacksonville is going to do a full Inozetek Midnight Green Wrap. I’ve been wanting a green car for a while, this is the perfect opportunity to do it I think!
-Bespoke is also going to powder coat the wheels and metal exterior trim in a satin titanium. It’s a subtle change to the chrome, but I like the ideal of three color car (dark green, satin titanium, black).
-Some regular maintenance items (dents, sticky buttons, headlight restore) so it comes out look like a whole new car

The one thing I haven’t fully decided on what to do is with the grills (front/side/rear and exhaust). Currently front is black, side/rear is chrome, and exhaust grills are...disgusting and discolored haha. Interested in thoughts from the forum on that!

And here’s the starting point....let’s see if we can make gorgeous look even better!

Some good ideas there and thank you for sharing the journey. It’s going to be great to see how it comes out.

I’m in a 24 hour holding period as I wait to see my transaction go through over the weekend for my first FF...so anxiously waiting here thinking about what it feels like to drive one of these babies! That said, this is an entertaining thread that I’ll be following for a while and thanks for sharing the plans. That green is fantastic...very classic looking at striking at the same time! I have bronze wheels (looks similar to your preference but has a bit more gold) that offsets on my Porsche Turbo painted in Macademia Metallic and it looks spectacular.

Already on Capristo X-Pipe and rear section, with a Forza controller. Sounds outstanding! I just posted a video of a cold start on my IG page a few days ago (if interested, username is @uber.wag https://www.instagram.com/uber.wag/

Congrats man. Great mods and can't wait to see what the FF looks like after the wrap. Are you getting the wrap done soon?

It is with @MaseEngineering now to get the ECU sauce done (he has promised us some good dyno pics/vids that I’m excited for), and then getting the dents done, and wheels done. Wrap process should be starting end of week/early next week with Bespoke. Can’t wait!

Also forgot to mention a little thing I did earlier in March-got the car tinted in 70% ceramic all around included windshield. Absolutely what I wanted-keeps the ‘clean glass’ look but with major improvement in heat and comfort. Highly recommended. Here’s the post of that process:

Ok, here’s a fun update. Mase Engineering Stage 1 tune (stock cats) done!
Big shout out to @MaseEngineering for getting a video of the dyno run as well! I’m happy. Compared to stock file on same car same day, peak gains of 41whp and 30wtq, but gains through the powerband were great (see graph) - in some spots more than 60whp and ~50wtq. Awesome stuff. Runs was in 4th on an AWD dyno, and sounds like it is a hard one to dyno with the PTU setup (will let Steve chime in there). Can’t wait to drive it!

    Thanks for the Dyno.

Assuming same dyno for the f12 Mase has on their website, it seems a tuned FF is right around the same power level as a f12.
Weight difference between the two is around 150-250 pounds depending on spec.
I guess it would be safe to say a tuned FF will be around 700 Crank HP.

F12 567 WHP 429 WTQ Stock Mase Dyno 731HP Crank Stock
F12 613 WHP 459 WTQ Tuned Mase Dyno

FF 511 WHP 429 WTQ Stock Mase Dyno 651HP Crank Stock
FF 551 WHP 458 WTQ Tuned Mase Dyno

Similar to differences between 612 and 599 on Mase Dyno.

    599 497 WHP 367 WTQ 612HP Crank Stock
    612 427 WHP 381 WTQ 533HP Crank Stock

Yep, that tracks to my thinking too, about 700hp crank. I’m very happy with results on paper! Can’t wait to drive it.

Did they put the tint on the inside of the windows and windshield or the outside? Wondering if the tint also helps with stone chip resistance?

    Looks awesome

Or go with the titanium colour that you’ve used on the wheels?

Are those front and rear dyno rollers connected? If not, the front wheels should stop spinning after going into 5th and higher gears.
