R.I.P: Marco Simoncelli (Moto GP)

Loris Capirossi is running Marco's number this weekend at Valencia as a tribute: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/95918

After the race, No. 58 will be retired.

I can't begin to understand how hard it must be for these guys to get back on their bikes and go racing after Malaysia, in one way or another they are all honouring Marco's memory.

I'm hoping this final race of the season will be a fitting tribute to him.

I'm watching MotoGP on DVR now,...

Very emotional.

Simoncelli's Dad asked for a moment of noise, instead of the usual moment of silence... Fireworks. Very fitting.

If you can get the BBC i player there's a nice tribute piece at the start of thier coverage today including some nice comments from some of the riders including Rossi, Stoner, Dovizioso, Pedrosa and Lorenzo.

It's well worth watching if you can.
