Hi guys, first post but hope to join the club soon. Thanks in advance. Does anyone have a good recommendation or two for top quality PPI in the Houston area? Shops to avoid? Avg cost?
The guy is so dedicated and passionate about exotics....has been my go-to mechanic for 3 years....you won't be disappointed, just amazed by the cars in the shop.
I had multiple cars worked on by Eurocar, before I understood sports cars. Upon reflection, I don't think Eric was completely square with me. In fact - I think that's part of the reason I had so many problems with my car. Which is a shame, because it was beautiful. All I know - for Porsche, I'll go to Warren and MC at Rennsport out past Sealy. For Ferrari - it's Mark at Sphere. And that's the short list. Although - I think tomorrow I'm going to go talk to the guys at Modern Aircooled.
+1 for Mark at Sphere. I just completed a remote purchase of a 2003 360 he did the PPI on. He was very thorough, patient in explaining the results to me, and I couldn’t be happier with the condition of the car, now that it has arrived in person.
I used Eurocar Werk to do body work, I'd love to hear more about the issues you had @Kidasters I'm thinking about a PPI on an RR Ghost at Post Oak, I'll hit up Mark
Hey @vraa . I took my first Porsche 964 to them. I was there a lot. Part of the reason I sold the car was because I was making monthly trips to see them. I think I put one of their kids through college. When the transmission output shaft for the 4wd gave up - I sold the car to them for bargain basement prices. He fixed it and flipped it - and then lied to me and said it was totaled (it's not - it still lives in the Houston area). Other car friends have had bad experiences with BMW's there as well. He'll never touch one of my cars again.
