Yep. Oh well...as they saying goes: "******** might get you through the front door but it won't keep you there for very long".
Yeah but bet they're not age 15 dropping off their daughter to 2nd grade in a Ferrari.....while being a sock puppet to others in the said discussion on a car forum under 2 user names. I was prepared to give the guy the benefit of the doubt up until reading that. Frankly, after last weeks Yang Yang debacle and now this, I don't know what to believe anymore.
It's hard to describe why people do the things they do. I have a very good friend and a good friend who created alter egos on social media. They basically wanted to keep their car lives separate from their regular life (didn't want close friends/employees/customers, etc. to know about their wealth). One created an alter ego which showed that he was a widower and his wife and child died in a car accident (he even had a picture of his "family"). Second guy made up a story that he was an executive at a fortune 500 company in a city that was a 3 hour drive away from where he lived. All the cars on that they talked about were the ones that they did own.
Here is my guess. dlezin sounds like dad came here to post years back. Even asks what to buy his 15 year old son and at some point and says he owns a Cayenne. Some internet googling even lists dad's name, home town, and the Cayenne as one of his car. dansage took over dad's account as well as created his own - and then went full blown mental trying to impress the Fchat crowd. All we have here is some needy 20 something year old with daddy's $$$ and a desire to fit in.
Another classic ...we should have smelt it then.... https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/secondary-market-for-pista.588355/
I'll never be able to understand what motivates people to make up stories like this. Only logical answer for it is there must be something very seriously amiss in their lives. I mean why would anyone bother otherwise? It makes no sense! Funny thing with this particular one is the guy's been at it as far back as 2013 and has managed to fly under the radar. Incredible! His seeming downfall being mouthing off with what could only be seen as an extremely far fetched claim (buying the same cars over and over every month in quantity). Maybe he was tired of the game and just wanted it to end.
Omg. No wonder he kept going with it. We really were a gullible bunch.....should have definitely spotted that and raised the ******** Flag.
Just my opinion, but I think the mods should delete this thread and just either ban him or simply don't bring it up again. We all know the deal and that's good enough. I think we've essentially doxxed him and I don't think this is something he or anyone would want cached in search results. As some people said, we thankfully grew up just early enough to see the Internet develop but not have all our screw ups documented for an eternity. Thank God I wasn't posting on forums when I was 18. I do not believe he deserves for this thread to appear in Google when you search his name, and if we don't delete it, I think it will.
Oh well. Knowing what we know now. Feel terrible for “defending the guy” I was just trying to give him the benefit of doubt Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Yeah but when I was 18 forums weren't so popular and we didn't have social media. The Internet was all about finding information and watching funny videos. And porn. Definitely it was about porn too. When I was 13-14, I was downloading warez on IRC chat rooms and playing Starcraft.
Don't feel too bad. You weren't the only one who got caught out giving him the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately we got played.... Re the idea of deleting the nonsense my thoughts are to leave it stay as an incentive for others thinking they can get away with it. IIRC yang yang also wanted to delete his pile of BS too. I mean where is the incentive for others if they think they can stroke away sucking members in with BS like what's been going on of late, and when they get caught have it all deleted? It's beginning to get to the point where enough is ENOUGH!!! No point encouraging others to follow suit.
i would delete the posts or his proper name so that the google searches dont find this. no one here is mean or intends for malintent. we just have a good sense for when there is smoke. the kid was immature at 15 and still at 21 which is understandable. maybe he will never have to look for a real job but if he does, this shldnt be something that deters that, in my opinion.
Some have spent the best part of this thread dismantling this dudes credibility - and now dude's exposed for all his worth some head off on a guilt trip? I'm confused boys. What is it that you actually wanted from the exercise because you can't have it both ways. Some need to make a choice whether they want BS to continue or, want it to stop.
Wow. Im not god - just calling out the glaringly obvious here. My apology. I was always looking forward to hearing more on the topic rather than hauling this guy out into the daylight. And OK I have to concede I was played but big deal who cares anyway. Let's talk cars. I found some of the BS masterful and rather funny but Im not gonna lose sleep over it.
Thats the point. I like mr Snuffleupagus just as much as anyone else but prefer to keep him off of fchat. Thats all. The mods have plenty of experience to figure out what to do. And one wld have to know to search fchat otherwise straight google searches dont bring anything up. I hope the kid doesnt hurt himself in any of the cars they do own. That's about the score of it for now, although I think the hounds are more disappointed that the Fox didn't put up more of a fight. Maybe he's a wiser fox than what was first thought lol. Looking back over the posts it's really only noone 1 that called him out by his real name so I have no issue if the mods choose to remove his real name. But all his alias' should remain along with all the other funny ****. And if the mods decide to boot him into touch then so be it - their call - but he did have a certain entertainment value, that I have to admit.
The fox has scarpered off into the bush for now... We need a new fox. Yang yag wasn't bad but he was way outclassed by this last Fox......he was good. That story about having a daughter and a Ferrari - that was beautiful. He had em all fooled even back in 2013! AND managed to fly under the radar ever since with 2 users using the sock puppet trick. That's not bad.
The Masters will have to decide whether to send the Terriers down to finish him off for good.. Meet you guys at the next hunt!
