Just wanted to share some pics of my new Mondial T Cabriolet. Even better than the pictures show an amazing time capsule. 600 miles in 30 years, I've already put a years worth of miles on at her historical average:). Thanks again for all the help from the forum pre purchase.

I see the tires are Pirelli P7, the factory tires in the US were typically Goodyears or Michelin MXX, although some may have used P7's which were a premium tire in the day. In any event, check the tire date codes on the sidewall, if they are the original 30 year old tires, they would not be safe to drive on at speed. I think new P7's are available through Longstone if you wanted to keep the period look in your time warp car intact.

Do keep us posted of any service requirements, we all read about the concerns about time warp cars and oil leaks and such, but in my experiences with people who bought timewarp cars that were stored well presented no problems whatsoever, just needing tires for greater certainty on safety and fresh fluids. Will be interesting to see what the actual experience ends up being with someone who sounds like you will be enjoying driving the car as the goal!

It looks like a spectacular example, congratulations on pulling the trigger on such a beautiful t, which many see as the ultimate Mondial.

Thanks for the post and the kind words, the car did have the full engine out service along with water pump replacement and some other things over a year ago. I'm sure something will break as part of a process to get it on the road more regularly. I do have the original tires and they are Goodyear's. The tires in the pics are brand new period correct Pirelli's put on before shipping to me and I did buy them from Longstone. Appreciate the kind advice. Thanks to all for the support and responses!

That third pic down makes me wonder how these cars are not more popular/expensive.
