I recently replaced the F-1 actuator ( made by Magneti Marelli) due to a very small leak. It is bolted to the transmission (left side ) with several hydraulic lines. The factory cost is 26,056.00 !!! I assume same part number for 360/430 etc.. Is this a common part to go bad or was I just lucky .???
They do sometimes leak, but can be rebuilt and resealed with good results. In the $2500-4000 range, depending on what you need. Also, that sounds like an entire system, not just the actuator.
