Optima Yellow Top

Seems Optima batteries have mixed reviews, but my instinct was they are a higher quality battery, with usually higher CCA's in comparison to other batteries of the same size, and a higher price. Just installed an Optima 8012-021 D34 with 750 CCA, which replaced a AutoCraft Silver Battery, Group Size 41, 650 CCA. I noticed immediate faster starts, and more juice (ac blower faster, lights not as dim) at idle. Also, a glitch where the radio cuts out when turned up loud, or cuts out when the AC blower turned on or off is now gone. I have already upgraded output of both alternators, added an additional ground strap. My first impressions are it is worth the $276.99 I paid from Summit.
