[NYC meet]Caravan to Manhassett 10/8

    Where: 34th Street and 1st Ave ( on 1st Avenue)

    Since most don't have front plates and the cops bust chops at the entrance of Midtown tunnel, we will cross the Queensboro Br. Upper level.


    1st Ave to 57th Stree, Left
    Make right on to the entrance of Upper level of Queensboro Br.
    at the light, make a right,
    3 lights (Van Dam Ave) make a right
    under the LIE overopass, make a left
    (LIE service road) Keep going and enter the LIE on ramp
    Don't get off the gap pedal till you see Exit signs for Exit#36 (hehehe)
    Take Route 495 (Long Island Expressway) to Exit 36.
    Travel North on Searingtown Road.
    At the 6th light, turn left onto Northern Boulevard.
    At the next light, turn left into our main entrance.

    Ed, I hadn't decided 100% so I was holding off on replying to your post, but there's a good chance I'm going. Will confirm later.

    If you check the other thread about this you'll see that Napolis just confirmed the P 4/5 will be there... Seriously tempting...

    Ed, my car is parked on 50th street and 8th. To save me some time, I'd like to just cross town on 50th and meet you guys in the 50s on 1st as you're heading towards 57th... Work for you? Say 8:00 am? (How long do you guys think you'll hang out at 34th after 7:45am?)

    Can we get a headcount with cars so I know who to look out for?

    Got the PM. TMINUS, I may end up going a little later, since it doesn't look like there's much of a caravan. PM me in the morning -- will check around 7:30 am, in case you still want to ride out... Not sure what my timing will be now.
