    Cleaning out the desk (taxes due on the 15th) I ran across this note my daughter left for me before she went off to college (yes her grammar has improved).

    Raising kids can be difficult from time to time, but this note made everything worth it.

    Yes I do, and they compete for dads attention in playful ways. Michelle changed her contact name in my phone to "Favorite Daughter"

    My how time goes quickly. My daughter is graduating next month, and has been accepted into the graduate program at Clemson.

    So on to graduate school, I told myself I would never drive across the country, but my daughter had to move quickly as her classes at Clemson start on May 13th. Packed up the car with what she needed (which was apparently allot), putting the rest in a POD to be shipped later, drove for 3 days the 2,900 miles, on the 4th day signed a new apartment lease, ran to Target for the basic house hold stuff, furniture store for bed and some basic furniture, then flew back on Friday.

    Good Daddy daughter time (and her pug - I had never needed to locate 'Pet Friendly' hotels before, so I learned something new.).

    Wow how time flys.

    Daughter graduates with her Masters on August 5th, starts her new job as a teacher on the 8th, and we just helped her buy a house there.

    Home, education, job - done.

    Whew...
