This poor 360 was brought into the Philippines with some of its parts detached in an apparent bid to skirt payment of taxes. Government found out and destroyed the car. It looked in great condition as well....

that would be the unsophisticated solution to a simple problem..... not impressed....

Gov't official 1 to GO2 - "what do we do with this partially assembled Ferrari?"

G2 to G1 - " give it to charity"? "auction it off and give funds to our dept"?

G1 to G2 - "no...... let's crush it"......... "that will be fun"

The USA does the same thing. You think this is unique to Philippines?

Looks like the Perp got lazy and should have taken off more parts. Even though it isn't technically complete, that "roller" looks like a complete car considering wheels, interior, etc. seem to be there.

I'm not sure if you are referring to me. If so then no, I don't think this is unique to the Philippines. I'm an equal opportunity government hater.

I’ve seen local law enforcement confiscate and then reappropriate fun cars for fleet use and exhibition use...... would be cool to see Texas dps rolling in a seized cs! But I’m sure the budget is not adequate.

Auctioned off, the funds would feed how many starving children? Supply how much needed medicine to those who need it... just not right.

We are talking about government here. This is no place for your logic, common sense, and reasoning.

Being a territory of the U.S. from 1898 till they became an independent country in 1946, its safe to say their democratic republic takes many of it’s governmental cues from the good ole U.S..

If auctioned off do you really think that money would make it's way to doing any good for the starving, the sick, etc.
I'm thinking more like the "widows and orphans" fund.
