He has the oem ctek plug, he is looking at a connection behind the seat so he can use a non ctek charger.
Ma Sorry some confusion here about ctek because the factory charger is also ctek. Many folks use a later model Ctek charger and plug it in behind the seat. Ctek sells an easy to install plug for this. If he would prefer another charger it may be harder to find a plug accessory for it. Ctek is the best chargers I have used.The plug has an indicator for battery charge built in.
I have a ctek 5 amp which will connect behind the seat, but it has left me with a flat battery a few times. They are that technical they cut out if it thinks something not right. I now use a common electronic one which is a lot more reliable.
My ball joints were creaking pretty bad - so a few years ago I sprayed some silicon lubricant through a pin hole that I put in the ball joint boot. Stopped the noise and it hasn't returned yet although I am sure it will eventually.
