    Recently published book on the history of the General Motors Technical Center. This was an architectural tour de force back in the mid '50's. Life Magazine called it the Versailles of business when it was dedicated in 1956 Designated a National Historic Landmark. Architects from around the world continue to make the pilgrimage to visit the site to this day. One of Eero Saarinen's best works. Image Unavailable, Please Login

    Very cool. Sort of like the tech giants' HQ's that have been built over the last decade. Apple, Facebook, Google, all employed "star-chitects" for their HQ's.

    They pointed out at the lecture that the new Apple HQ is the 'Tech Center' of the new Millennium.
