So sorry! Hang in there. post on all your local message boards and websites for people to keep an eye out.
Thanks for the replies everybody. Car was stolen from my residence building, a secured parking lot underneath my apartment building. I will not go into too much details at this time. Thanks for the compassion.
So sorry to hear this, such a great looking car not to mention a dry sump too. We will keep our eyes on it here in the US just in case.
Sorry to hear of this. These is the dark side of money talk and increasing values. It's the second case this year after the silver one in Paris. You should also inform Robert from The Ferrari 308 GTB Register He placed a brief message regarding the Paris car on his register website. Best Regards Martin
It will be located eventually. Too much info on the internet these days for it to be used by someone else without a care. Sorry about all this.
Awful news. Hopefully it will turn up like the one stolen in the Seattle area where they find it parked along a residential street with minimal damage.
That was mine. I was just getting ready to respond. I'm so sorry to hear of your car being stolen. It is a hell of a shock for sure. Mine was stolen by a joy rider. They are REALLY easy to pop the ignition out and hotwire (just jam a screwdriver in the ignition). I def. was fearful that it was going to be shipped or parted out, but got lucky. Put the word out. Make sure anyone knows. Jelopnik (sp?) also put out that mine was stolen, so I would let every chat board know. Not sure what local car sites you have, but post on them all. I'm hoping it all ends well for you. I'll be sending good thoughts your way. Eric
so sorry Mick. I cannot even imagine how you must feel right now. I wish you all the best for the next period.
Mick, word was put out on the german carpassion.com forum this morning hopefully your car will soon be found undamaged ! best Michael
what a sad news. Hope the car will be found soon. I will spread the VIN and car data here in Italy. ciao
Rob, Want to make F-Chat better? Figure out a way to make "APB's" for events like these to all members and select "like-boards" and web sites. Mick, Hope you get your car back most ricky-tick.
Hi Mick, man, I was deeply shocked when I read your message. After the bad luck with your first 308 GTB, now another horrible event regarding your fantastic "black beauty". I have immediately placed a notice regarding you car in the news section of the Register website. Let's hope the car will re-appear soon and without any major damage. I think we all can understand how you must be feeling right now. This gives everyone of us something to think about - at least updating the insurance valuation of our cars! Best regards, Robert The Ferrari 308 GTB Register
