I just started getting production line photos. Car is scheduled to be complete at the end of the month. The reality of this car is suddenly getting more real. The color is Grigio Titanio, black leather/alcantara interior, alcantara rear shelf, CF everything except the inner door panels/rear bench. Grigio Chiaro thick stitch and seat stripe for race seats. Silver alloy calipers, Diamond cut forged wheels.

Wow! Super exciting! Congratulations!! This car will be really beautiful! When you write the check it will be even more real, but then it will become surreal the first time you bury the throttle, unleash 731 prancing horses, and try to ponder in milliseconds how can the horizon move so quickly towards me! :)

Congrats! Titanio would probably be my choice on an F12. Looking forward to seeing the final product. :)

Well it appears they got the color right and Grigio Titanio is certainly the RIGHT color for the F12!

Tentative build completion date slated for 9/26. That news was from my dealer 8/1. Maybe I am ahead of schedule ? Looks like the car is now in assembly.

If its anything like mine, your car will be off the production line 10 working days after receiving the 2nd (painted) photo. They build these things fast!

Wow...how much longer to get across from the pond once off the line ? Is there a way to find out the ship's name and track it's progress ?

Not aware of a way to track the ship but my F12 took about 3 to 4 weeks from the last photo to my garage. Not much longer....

Yes...a competent dealer can definitely get you that information. Mine was able to get me the name of the ship and shipping line. I then followed up with the shipping line directly almost every other day until it reached the local port. They probably still remember me as most annoying customer ever. It will probably take a little longer in your case as you live in the U.S.

    Waiting is the worst part!!!!

It makes me wonder if it's worth the $13k to have the car air mailed. Maybe it's too late for me to request that ?

I think Larry asked the same exact question and had his car sent by Air Freight to the East Coast. You could ask him. I believe it saved him about 2 weeks??

However, I will say that i have personally shipped many cars on multiple occasions through Saima (Official Ferrari Logistics Partner in Italy). The manager of the loading facility and head of sales is a good friend. They are very fast and efficient. I always drive my cars to their warehouse to load into containers before shipping. They do everything...documentation, clearing, and loading onto vessel.

If your delivery is to the East Coast, it shouldn't take more than 3-4 weeks max.

Not worth it to save two weeks. I guess she will float across the pond. ;)
    I'm on the East coast.

Wise choice. Save the $ for insurance and petrol. That's all you're gonna need for the next 4 years at least... ;)

Im reliving my delivery through your thread :D

    Excited for you bro!

I am for now. Always wanted a V8 and V12 Ferrari. Garage space for the next few years dictates only two sport cars, so I feel I got the best of both worlds.
