Race results 1st Pedrosa 2nd Rossi 3rd Lorenzo 4th Edwards 5th Hayden 7th Spies Stoner crashed out on the warm up lap
No 7th. He passed Dovi in the last part of the race, giving Edwards enough points to beat Dovi for 5th place overall in the championship. Too bad Stoner went out.
http://www.motogp.com/en Is showing Ben in 7th still a respectable showing for his first outing on the Yamaha M1 considering he was as far back as 12 about 1/3 of the way into the race.
btw before the race there was a very interesting BBC interview with Rossi. Two things stood out: 1) he wants Yamaha to choose either him or Lorenzo for 2011. He doesn't want to be on the same team with him anymore. 2) he seriously considers switching to Ducati in 2011.
Youtube removed the video of the interview, but it left no doubt about Rossi's intentions. Jorge or him is basically what he said. Blew me away, since I thought he would never. I'm sure that if he leaves, the Aussies are going with him. If Burgess doesn't go, then I think his leaving will be a bust. Art

Thanks for the link. I noticed right off the line on the sighting lap, stoner went to the tail end of the grid. Crash looks like a failure of the TC resulting in a high side.
