Am I the only one that's bothered by a person sitting on the bonnet?...
Am I the only one that's bothered by a person sitting on the bonnet? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6212&item=4553571127&rd=1
Nah, she's kinda okay looking. Would be better if she was lounging there in a bikini. Then, on the other hand, taking a closer look at the picture, maybe not. As for sitting on the hood, who cares. It's his car (or hers) and they can do what they want. The only one who should be concerned is the possible buyer.
Dane. I too am very concerned about this picture....... I'd like to see more cleavage and perhaps a little stocking top, if that's not asking too much.
I think I mispoke. What bothered me was the fact she's on a car that's for sale. I sure has heck wouldn't want to see someone, even if it was Anne Bancroft, sittin' on my potentially new car. I think I'm being a bit anal, though. Second thought:I'd be happy to have Anne on my car: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yeah it's sad to see a clothed women on a ferrari ;-)) But the place where she sits is stronger than the middle of the bonnet,so i don't think its that bad.
"The air works, but I usually have to gas it up every few weeks, so I suppose there is a minor leak somewhere." I think he's right. As for the woman... I'd imagine most of us have "encoutered" far less attractive examples. Nice smile.
With her sitting on the front like that, the car willl now have front end damage to match the back end. His description that the rear end damage has been repaired and is "virtually undetectable" is hilarious. At least he gives you a picture. You can beleive his descriptioin or you can believe your own eyes.
It is a sin. How ya doin, Dane? Still have the Mondi you sold me. I see you have an 81 308. How's that compare to the Mondial? Here are some pics of "your" car. Sam Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
There's no mention of who imported and certified the car for EPA and DOT clearance or any mention that he has the documents, so it would be worth checking directly with each of those agencies before committing any money on a bid or a PPI. John
Sam, It's great to hear from you. You should be very proud of how you've taken care of your Mondi.' I love my GTSi! I could care less about the drop in bhp from the carb'd models versus the fi'd ones. What I like is the no frills, turn-key starts the fi'd cars give. I will be honest. The cab-forward design is more fun to take a corner in than the GTS/GTBs. Just my opinion. However, I do love the open top feeling of the S. It's really special to cruise down the road with the fresh air. It's much more quiet than I anticipated, too. I don't think I will ever drive with the top on! I always regretted selling the GTB and the Mondial. I insist that I am holding on to my car for a good, long while! BTW, the Mondial is "your" car. Again, be proud of what you've done. Along with the GT4s, I think the Mondial is the most underrated, underappreciated car out there. The Mondial is just too fun to drive. Dane
It bothered me from the moment I saw it....guess I was not the only one, so this post made me laugh. Since most perspective Ferrari owners notice little details like large dents in the hood-I would recommend to the owner that this is not the best way to market his car.... Then again, as P.T. Barnum said, there is one born every minute.
Different tastes, so to speak, I think she is rather classy and attractive. As for the car, nice interior.
