In the 1980s, there were several memorable cars from hit TV shows -- including the white Ferrari Testarossa from the hit series, Miami Vice.

If you were a fan, you had a shot at owning it recently, because the 1986 model Ferrari recently hit the auction block on eBay, claiming to be just one of two used in the show.

According to Auto Blog, the show got two Testarossas from Ferrari after the car maker sued them. Miami Vice began with James "Sonny" Crockett driving a black Daytona Coupe, but it was a replica built on C3 Corvette. When Ferrari found out, they sued the replica maker and made the show's producers an offer: blow up the replica on the show in return for two Ferrari's.

One of them hit eBay just before Christmas with a "Buy It Now" price of $1.75M. The seller said it had all of the service history paperwork and documentation from Ferrari North America. He also said he bought it about three years ago; and before that, it was sold in 1991 and sat in a Miami garage for years, so it has 16,000 miles on the odometer.

The Hagerty Price Guide Report show that Testarossa values have nearly doubled in four years, but even a pristine example of the superstar is only valued at around $93,500.

The eBay auction has since ended, but it's unclear if the Ferrari sold or not.

Yeah, that's 93500 for a 'regular' TR, but we're talking about Crockett and Tubbs here, man! Surely that's worth an additional $1.65 million!

It would have made headlines if it sold for anything remotely close to the asking price.
