Looks like the car has an aftermarket A/C installed.

My first post here. Apparently the lister is actually in Italy (we got a 404 error in Italian plus a warning from EBay email the lister may not speak english as its from an overseas site). He's also listing a restored DZ coded 69 Camaro for $6400.

    Hi Dave, welcome to Fchat.

    A DZ code camero? $6400?? I'll take 2 please.
By the way...notice that his auctions do not have any reserve. You think if I bid $200 for the Fcar and you all agree not to outbid me that he'll sell it? Oh pleeeeease.

Are people really that stupid that they bid on these auctions and send the money? Oh say it isn't so. At least tell me they don't vote.

This car has been listed for $6800 numerous times. It would help to complete the transaction if the seller actually owned the car.

Ebay's laughing because they get to collect the fees everytime he lists something.

Without even looking, this is a scam.

Tip-offs: Unrealisticly low price and a 'pre-approved bidders only' requirement.

Send an email to get pre-appreoved, and it turns out the car is actually located in England/France/wherever and can't pass emission/safety testing. It's OK though, he's military and can get it shipped anywhere for free. Just send the money to him and everything will be fine...

There was another like this last week for a 94 348 spider in Ohio. Wife selling car cause husband hurt his back. 16,500 miles!

For $18K it could be yours. No inspection need as pre-approved by eBay!

    Send $ to -------

I reported it as bogus, and it was promptly removed.

He will say he is 'alledgedly' at an airbase here in the Uk, which I can say for fact doesn't even exist, it is supposed to be in Cornwall, there have been several threads about similar frauds/scams
