too bad Tk didn't get his fast run in during qualifying - I think they'd be the Audi on pole position but thanks to the Ford Gt (no surprise) that put the halt to pole for he, Dindo and Allan - despite qualifying in 3rd I look for Strakka to take the LMP2 win - great group of folks - in the GT Pro, the BMW's are definitely going to be tough contenders as is AF Corse with Fisi/Gimmi/Toni and Luxury with Jaime/Stephane/Makowiecki, not to mention the trio driving for Farnbacher - neither Lotus finished at Spa - Corvette looks strong too so the GTE P should be a good race. Don't overlook the ORECA Peugeot as I have seen them ahead of the factory ones before.

A bit sad that Ferrari is no longer fielding cars in the Top Class at Le Mans.

True, but they haven't offered anything for privateers in that class since the 333SP. And, as a factory effort, they haven't even BEEN to Le Mans since the early 70's, right? Hard to compete with Audi and Peugeot's factory efforts as a privateer.

Would LOVE to see them get back in the endurance game, but I think their time is being spent (not so fruitfully lately, I might add) elsewhere.

With the top six all within less than a second of the
pole, it's going to be very close in the race.

And, just wait, they won't be stopping every five
minutes for tires. Watch the Michelins go double
to even quad stints in the race.

Go Audi and Ferrari! I'm pretty excited for this years race, but wish there was more variety at the top. It will be interesting to see how the Pug's start out again, and if the reliability will be there this year. That goes for the Audi's too for that matter. I'll be working most of the time so I'm grateful for radiolemans!

Great start. 30 min in Audi 1-2-3. First Audi stop coming. Pigouts seem better on fuel. This will be interesting race up front!

Amazing crash - looked like he dove in very hard and very late. Necessary this early in the race?

It was right on top of them...I don't think human reflexes are that fast. Did you see that tire that came off in the middle of the crowd?

Looks like he went for a hail mary pass, which would have been incredible if pulled off. Just another inch of room and it would have been ok.

Thank God everyone seems to be ok!!

Wonder if he thought he had more power (i.e. last year's car) when he went for it.
