I’m curious as to what watch he wears on Curb Your Enthusiasm. I can’t find a picture of it but on the show it looks like gold, square case, leather or reptile strap. I’m thinking JLC Reverso.

He doesn’t obviously “pose” it so I guess he isn’t getting any compensation for wearing it. Maybe he just likes it!:)

There was a debate on the Rolex forum about this a few years ago. Some think it is a Cartier Tank American, others thought it was a Reverso, and others thought it was a Baume et Mercier Capland. Not much help I’m afraid.

Nice catch. I should have known it wouldn’t be a mere JLC.;)

    Thanks!

It is actually a fairly affordable Baume et Mercier Hampton, see pictures for reference. I bought two of them, one of the watches is quartz(The one Larry wears with the seconds subdail), and you can get similar automatic watches for around £600 at the time I bought mine. I think I paid less than £1000 total for both of them :) Let me know if you have any questions as i spend quite some time finding the correct model lol

Should be baume et mercier MV045063(Quartz), there is a ladies model that is very similar so make sure its the correct one if you are looking to buy it. The women version is 20mm, while the mens version should be 25x40mm. Wears bigger than it sounds because of the rectangular shape, see my picture above. :)

I think they are from around 1999-2000ish, but you can also contact baume & mercier, they are always helpful in my experience. I bought mine for around the same as you, and congratulations on the new watch!

I think it will be fine, but then again I was already used to a lot of 35-39mm watches, and the baume wears like the 35mm ish
