Glad to see you are alive. Thought you might have gotten assassinated after all that. What a friend you are. Karl
Karl, you might reserve that last comment for a few weeks, Gil might have put something in motion you will absolutely hate. Trust me, it was Gil's best intent for you though.
I know it was. I am just trying to throw in a little comedy to soften this thread but I guess I'll keep my day job ( I cannot reveal what it is) lol Karl
I know, it is all in good fun now, I'm having fun. there is just an inside joke going on, actually there are several going on, I am just privy to one though.
I think you need to look into this guy advertising on the site: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/member.php?u=1
As a followup to my last message (#44) I can report that Karl has a new toy! After a heavy braking week-end at Hutchinson Island last week-end, several service codes continued to flash. Mainly brake and tire pressure warnings. I took the 575M to Karl yesterday. He was more excited than usual as he showed me all his new computer could do! I was quite impressed. I had no idea my driver's door had been opened 2800 times. Or my hood lifted 289 times? Or my engine cycled 1440 times? Who knew? There was a ton more data - but you get the picture. Anyway - after "de-coding" several of the faults and updating the F-1 transmission I drove home in a very different car! Shifts were silky smooth. I was amazed. All good stuff. Thank you Karl! Gordon.
It was Ferrari vs Corvette. Hey I don't care either way. I just voiced my honest opinion. Something I'm very well known for. I do appreciate what you did. Thanks.
The first gen Vipers were very dangerous vehicles. Kind of like a "sow on ice" The second gen especially the ACRs are a whole different animal. I have raced against some (on track) and they are quite capable in the right hands. Karl
+1! First (powerful) car I ever drove at VIR (October 1999, right after pavement went down). Spun that damn car so fast and so violently, Connie Nyholm (track co-cowner and managing partner) could not stop laughing hysterically. I was more quiet...
