    Good day Romano,

Where did see the 187 final bid? I ask, as the site shows the final bid as $208 261 which I am assuming is USD.

    Cheers,

    Sam

I think its the correct current price.
If the car is not fully sorted factor in another 20-50k, so 225-250k is the right price for a good sorted BBi these days.

So apparently this car was sold in December 2019 for €187000 NO RESERVE.

Isn’t it funny that the exact same car is offered for sale AGAIN on Catawiki now. Same seller, same photos.

How is this possible? I want to bid but I don’t want to get ripped off by a shady auction house or seller.

Just leaving this info here for other interested bidders.

This is a review of the same seller “Tuned Imports” on Catawiki:

“The seller is not correct. The auction was with "NoReserve" price.I won and I sent the money the day after.After4 days the seller refuse to give me the car, because the price is not acceptable for him.”

Review by Pavlin-1 on 18 June 2019 (probably different car, but same seller)

Almost all the cars of this seller "Tuned Import" have NO RESERVE. Its just a trick to get attention. And Catawiki is'nt doing anything against it...means they are in the same game or dont care about honesty.

I did ask the manager from Catawiki if he can explain this situation for me :
    His answer :
    Beste Guido,

    Translation :
    Dear Guido,
I understand that this seems a bit strange to you, however I can explain it, all cars that we auction NO Reserve are actually auctioned at the highest amount.
What we can not prevent is that you bid and ultimately not paid, of course we have a strict check that the seller is not bidding himself.
At Catawiki we have a special team that actively looks for fraud cases, I can guarantee that everything goes fairly and we only re-install when a car is ultimately not paid.
Kind regards / Kind regards, Sander Houdel

    Strange explication...Guido

For sure! Thanks for your help Guido. I have sent emails to Sander Houdel and the seller “Tuned Imports” yesterday, both emails are still unanswered.

    Let’s not forget this review:
“The seller is not correct. The auction was with "NoReserve" price. I won and I sent the money the day after. After 4 days the seller refuse to give me the car, because the price is not acceptable for him.”

I was seriously interested to make a good offer on their black on black 575M. But I don’t want to be part of a fake NO RESERVE auction.

“All of our auctions are subject to notarial supervision” Yeah right LOL
