    Bonjour mes amis

I have a weekend on the road coming up and I can spend it in Paris. I would like to ask for your recommendation of a small, convenient, 200-250 euros per night, in district 1-7.

Any recommendation for restaurant would be very nice as well. I eat everything that moves, and a few things that don't move.

    Merci
    Mitchell

Mitchell, a few recommendations on food:

A must (and a must for reservations, must must must): Les Papilles: 30 rue Gay Lussac
A very good (suggest reservations as well): Verjus: 22 Rue de Richelieu

As for hotels, i usually stay at the Hilton Arc de Triomphe, may be a bit outside the budget, or I rent an apartment in the 6th, so I am not as much help

    Hello Mitchell,

I just saw your thread and I hope my post doesn't come too late for your trip.
I would recommend a hotel very well suited in the 1st on rue Saint Honore, its called Le Relais Saint Honore.
About restaurant, if you fancy a tipical parisian restaurant that has been there for ages and that makes great food is L'Asiette in rue du chateau in the 14th. French tipical food.
If you go there around the 6th-11th december i will be there as well and I would be happy to take for a spin in my 328 GTS.
    Enjoy your stay.
    Marc
