    Skyler - maybe meet tomorrow? My tel # +971 55 8587 901.

BANANA - GT3, Speedcar Series, GP2 Asia.. today and tomorrow. Races start at 1pm (GP2), then 3pm (Speedcar) and 4.30pm (GT3 - best one IMO). Some parades and demos before that, although I didn't make in time today to see them, so don't know exactly.

PS I'll post a link to some photos I took later on :)

    Here's one;

Get in touch if you decide to go. I have spare ticket - I offered it to someone already, but he doesn't know if he'll be able to go. So a possible 100dhs in the pocket :)

Thanks for the offer but i decided against going. I decided to stay in and finish off some work considering the weather is not so good these couple of days in Dubai.

    Hi Menoy,
Something came up last minute and I was not able to attend.

How was the races? Any nice exotic cars running around as well?
Pity, I was really looking forward to it.

Hopefully you got some good pictures.
    Cheers.

The races were cancelled!! :( Such a shame... yesterday I found some nice photo spots but quite late on in the day and only had a point and shoot camera. Borrowed a DSLR for today and was really excited only to arrive and hear that all the races were off. Track was flooded...

Hold on to your tickets - apparently they will be refunded.

That Sucks! But good thing I didn't go!
Anything spot-worthy aside from the races?

I got some tickets through a friend who was doing work for the show. Doubt I'd get anything back from them.

Dubai's drainage system = Non existent.

I went to the Autodrome about a month ago and the approach road was all messed up, so I was wondering how do you get your cars there? With the way things were on this road it was next to impossible to get an exotic there UNLESS there is another approach I don't know of and/or you guys are using flatbeds.

    Thanks :)

Hmm... MY cars? :p Well I don't own an exotic, so unfotunately no problem for me ... the approach road coming from Dubai is still in a bad shape. A 911 should be able to get there, but I'm not sure about anything more exotic. I don't know what the situation is like coming from Abu Dhabi - I think there is another road from that side.

I'll actually be there tomorrow, so I'll check.

Well, went there today. The roads themselves, both from Dubai and Abu Dhabi are OK, most cars (to my untrained eye) should pass more or less easily. The whole site is still under heavy construction though, so loads of roads, junctions and roundabouts - nearly all of course without any signs :( One can easily get lost.
