very impressive show. Even with the rain, which undoubtedly kept people away, there were cars all over the city of Glen Cove. It looked like the bmw nationals or something, however. I've never seen so many bimmers in one day. A few cell phone pics. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Joe and the team of Martino Auto Concepts Auto Couture benefiting Diabetes Research Institute put a hell of a Concours show together. I loved the whole event dispite the light sprinkle. That marks #3 times my Diablo has been caught in the rain, No Problem. The Kiddy Rock Band was fantastic. Made some new friends with owner of a Guards Red SV Diablo. Looking forward to the next one. By the way thanks Joe for the XL Shirt, this time it fits Best Regards
here are some pictures i took from the event. highlight for me was definitely the enzo. that car is amazing. i wish i was there when he popped the hood and the doors. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/wsaraceni/2010-09-12%20Gold%20Coast%20Concours/web.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/wsaraceni/2010-09-12%20Gold%20Coast%20Concours/web-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/wsaraceni/2010-09-12%20Gold%20Coast%20Concours/web-2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/wsaraceni/2010-09-12%20Gold%20Coast%20Concours/web-3.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/wsaraceni/2010-09-12%20Gold%20Coast%20Concours/web-4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/wsaraceni/2010-09-12%20Gold%20Coast%20Concours/web-5.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/wsaraceni/2010-09-12%20Gold%20Coast%20Concours/web-6.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/wsaraceni/2010-09-12%20Gold%20Coast%20Concours/web-7.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/wsaraceni/2010-09-12%20Gold%20Coast%20Concours/web-8.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/wsaraceni/2010-09-12%20Gold%20Coast%20Concours/web-9.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/wsaraceni/2010-09-12%20Gold%20Coast%20Concours/web-10.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/wsaraceni/2010-09-12%20Gold%20Coast%20Concours/web-11.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/wsaraceni/2010-09-12%20Gold%20Coast%20Concours/web-12.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/wsaraceni/2010-09-12%20Gold%20Coast%20Concours/web-13.jpg
Truly an amazing event. Loved it. The rain was amazing for picture, have to say but quite bad for walking around. I'll be posting pictures on Flickr tonight and tomorrow. If you would like I can put up a link. (There is already a link in another post somewhere around).
definitely looking out for it. i really need to pick up that polarizing filter. as you can see from the post above yours my pics desperately could use it.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/39255882@N06/ Haha, the polarizer is so worth the small $20. It's like magic. Just decided to post the link again, I don't have too many shots up from the event right now, only like 6-7.
Just wanted to thank Joe and Derek on behalf of Nouvalari-USA for hosting such a GREAT EVENT, GREAT CARS, GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT SPONSORS, AND MOST OF ALL, GREAT CAUSE!! You guys did a wonderful job and it was a great time, even despite the weather, we're so glad we participated, totally worth it! Mark
I would like to thank all Sponsors, Participants, Spectators & anyone else who made the Gold Coast Concours 2010 such a huge success. It would not have been possible without all of you. Many of the show car owners drove great distances to support this event & managed to stay the entire time regardless of the weather. We are working closely with the staff of the Diabetes Research Institute to get the final totals of funds which were raised. Once again, Thank you on behalf of the Gold Coast Concours & the Diabetes Research Institute.

One of the Highlights of the Gold Coast Concours was Reuniting Ludmilla with Marcello. We look forward to seeing this team in action on the race circuit.
