    Weather sucks, not too many good driving days left for a little while. Thinking of getting a Allsports go-kart event together after the Holidays. Maybe around the middle on January. Anyone interested respond here and I can start getting the plans together..Maybe Sunday--Jan. 20, Oh--that's my Birthday!! :D

    Robbie, I know they have a kid league in the mornings until noon during the winter and the BMW club, we used to meet in the afternoon on Sundays. Might want to check early, just a heads up.

    Just called and it will have to be around 4pm or so if that's ok with everyone. Robert nailed it with the kid league, that gets over around 3pm or so.. To reserve the track just for us I need to pay up front for a reservation---Maybe if we can get at least 8 of us we can do a Mini GP... let's get a head count over the next day or two and I will call and reserve the track

    I would be in depending on the date..most Sunday's I have tennis at 4pm. Let me know what date you decide.

    I am in! If we can get enough people, we have to do a "endurance" style race with driver changes. The event the FCA MAR put together early this year was awesome. (Maybe only because I won ;) )

    I'll bring the trophy to defend my title!

    how much to rent the track for day? I know day have all you can drive for $100. mini grand prix is 60? it might be worth doing the track rental or all you can drive for 40 extra.

    Can't rent the track on a weekend, they have special events going on..

    Need to know a specific date to commit but definetly interested. I am sure we would get 3-4 from North of the Mason Dixon line!! Jon in Delaware

    I have done the Mini GP twice in the past--25 lap qualifier and a 40 lap race. After 65 laps in that kart you will not want to do anymore, trust me--It beats you to death, but so much fun it is worth it. 8-11 people is $85 a person..As soon as we get enough people confirmed I will call and reserve the track---just hope my leave gets approved for that day...:D


    If we have more than that, I think we can break it down to do 2 seperate GP's, maybe 7 or whatever in each race...How is the 20th of Jan. sound??

    Richmond has one of the premier indoor karting tracks in the mid-atlantic. In September '08, on the Saturday before the "Classics on the James" our Saturday evening event for all of the out-of-towners will be a karting event instead of a dinner.

    Robbie, I will seriously try to come up for your BD.

    I think January 20th is a Sunday. Sounds good to me. I will try and rally some Northerners to accompany me to that far away land called Dulles were the Ferraris are cool and the traffic sucks..but on a Sunday morning it shouldnt!! My goal is four people from North of the Mason Dixon line Jon in Delaware
