I assume this is for a Lusso?

Must be the real deal, by the way. We all know the high bidder and he wouldn't bid that price for repro stuff.

Very real but missing quite a bit of stuff, GTE manual and the small detail things etc... Not as difficult to get as the main stuff on offer.

    Rergards,

Bill or Tom, which model was this suplied with originally? No 250 GTs produced in 1965. Lusso was the last of the line in '64.

Correct pieces but some from a Lusso etc... There were no "GTO" specific items except for the press release sheets.

Even the Lusso borrowed from the 2+2 etc...

    Cheers,

    Bill

    Tom,

When the auction ends, can you tell us which bits are the valuable/rare ones in the lot.

    Thanks,

    Art S.

If any one has a real 250gt manual I would be interested. 1961 is the year.

I'm sure Tom S. or Bill N. have what you need in spades.

That eBay bidder "offamas" has the high bid and he is always very aggressive, I can never win anything when he bids ...

Mismatched indeed. At the risk of being corrected I’d say that in the ebay ad (not the pictures below) the upper left is the 1965 Sales and Service book. The upper right is the inside plug owners manual that would be too early for a 1965 car as it was used until replaced by the GTE manual in 1961. Some of the detail pictures are from this manual (including the general specifications and engine lubrication pages). The lower right is a mid 60s pouch (guess here) and the lower left is something from Chinetti (possibly a parts book?). I can't read the details but I think it says something about the 1964 F1 World Championship on it.

The inside plug manual is very nice indeed. I wish it was on its own, I'd take a crack at it, it's much better than the one I used for the set below. I'm sure the bidding will continue to rise with the usual suspects involved.

Again, my guesses, open for criticism and comment!

And IIRC, the 410SA's came with 250GT books.

    Ended at $7500,

It would be interesting to hear if the pouch looks to be a repro.

I guess we'll find out soon enough since the winning bidder is one of us (and has already posted in this thread)!
